Mercury
I recently had to use mercury, or as it’s also known, quicksilver, and let me tell you, it's definitely an experience! This stuff is like the slippery fish of metals—liquid, shiny, and practically begging to be touched. It’s supposed to be great for making amalgams with other metals, but honestly, I felt like a kid playing with a science experiment gone wrong. While it’s super useful, I can’t shake the feeling that it should come with a warning label. No one warns you about how weird it feels to hold a liquid metal that looks like a superhero's sidekick. Also, I keep worrying about what happens if I drop it—will I turn into a supervillain? So, while it’s handy, I think I might just stick to regular old metal next time!
